2023: DELTA NORTH MEET,BACK OKOWA,PDP FOR VICTORY.

Solidarity for PDP Vice -Presidential candidate,Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa, peaked,Friday 30th, September 2022, as politicians from Delta North senatorial district met and backed him,towards the success of the Party in the 2023 general elections.
Civic centre,Ogwashi -Uku ,venue of the meeting,wore enthusiastic ambience as the political leaders drawn from the 9 local government areas of Delta North, Anioma gathered to drum support in celebration of Okowa and his fortunes.
Various speakers at the meeting led by the Chairman of PDP in Delta North, Hon. Moses Iduh chronicled the strides of Okowa ,since his historic governorship on May,29, 2015.
Hon. Iduh noted that Dr. Okowa had impacted families and communities across the state, through empowerment of job creation and widespread political appointments as well as provision of social infrastructure. He said the unprecedented accomplishments,commend the governor to an iconic status worth rallying and celebrating .
Waxing optimistic, the PDP senatorial chairman said with Okowa’s strength of character and grace, the party would sweep Presidential, National Assembly, Governorship and other state polls in 2023.
The Secretary to the Delta state government,Chief Patrick Ukah, reechoed that the governor had performed excellently well and appealed to all political appointees and elected representatives to work in oneness and harmony for the enthronement of PDP in the general elections.
Minority leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Ndudi Elumelu said APC had proved to be the worst political experience in the annals of Nigeria’s civil rule, having inflicted unimaginable socio-economic woes on the people. He said the nation was better under PDP and noted that the party stands as the only pathway for progress and inclusiveness among all Nigerians.
A former member of House of Representatives and Director General of Asaba Capital Development Territory,Hon. Joan Onyemachi said money politics would not determine outcome of the 2023 elections but character and accessibility. Hon. Onyemachi said such virtues define Okowa ,who according to her, bears a pleasant aura and relates well with every one as a popular grassroots politician.
She said the PDP Vice-Presidential candidate symbolized glory for the state,as the first Deltan to get such honour,urging the political class and electorates to support him, noting that his victory would bring immense benefits to the land.
In his remarks, State Director of Protocol,Hon. Ifeanyi Eboigbe highlighted the necessity of loyalty and stated that appointees have a moral obligation to enlighten the people about government deeds and direction ahead of 2023.
He tasked the political leaders and supporters to dedicate themselves to duty as ambassadors of the Okowa administration and mobilize voters to use their PVCs to enthrone PDP in power at all levels.
Commissioner for Finance, Chief Fidelis Tilije Okenmor said the track record of governor Okowa was unassailable,with his achievements credible and verifiable.
He advised PDP members to propagate the legacies of the Vice Presidential flag bearer as a man of exceptional integrity and also work for the victory of all the party candidates in next year’s polls.
Political leaders, local government chairmen, Civil commissioners and other appointees from Delta North senatorial district attended the meeting.
